Sauna experiences for all senses, 8.6.2024 Musta Mäntyjärvi

During Sauna-day you can enjoy some of the best Musta Mäntyjärvi has to offer: maybe splash into the cool lake waters after a hot tent or a sauna-on-wheels, or taste the treats of the local nature, listening to campfire stories by the fire. It is truly an experience for all the senses, free of charge!

The event includes: sauna and bathing (max 2 hours, sauna-on-wheels, a hot tent and hot tub available) and free-of-charge campfire snacks at the Musta Mäntyjärvi hut and firepit. By the fire you will learn stories about local nature, history and delicacies. Execution and duration of the event: Participation will be staggered, so that there will be about 10 participants at a time in the area. Group 1: 12:00-15:00, Group 2 14:00-17:00 and Group 3 16:00-19:00. Approximate duration is 3 hours.

Location: Musta Mäntyjärvi, Lieksa. Please note, transit is by own rides. Drive from Joensuu is little over 1 hour and from Lieksa about 30 minutes. For more infromation: https://www.kalastusretket.fi/en/rentalake/

You should take with you clothing suitable for the outdoors, a towel, a bathing suit and other Sauna equipment. Bathing is done in mixed company, with the bathing suits on. Please note that the event is non-alcoholic.

Signing up in advance is required for participation in the event. Registration can be done as follows, and tickets will be assigned accordingly (Please note, you cannot reserve tickets online, so please come and say hi!):
-Sat 24.5. starting at 15:00 in Cafe Eväsretket (Luontokeskus Ukko, Ylä-Kolintie 39, Koli) 10 tickets will be given in the order of registration, max 2 tickets / person. These tickets will allow you to participate on saturday 8.6. at 12:00-15:00.

- Sat 24.5. starting at 13:00 in Järven Taiga shop in Kauppahalli Joensuu (Torikatu 2, Joensuu) 20 tickets will be given in the order of registration, max 2 tickets / person. These tickets will allow you to participate on saturday 8.6. at 14:00-17:00 or 16:00-19:00 (check your ticket for the time).

Note, that registration is binding. If you cannot make it, please be kind and contact the event organizers. Additional (non-alcoholic) drinks and snacks will be available on top of the included servings, cash and MobilePay are accepted. It is also possible to reserve additional services during registration, such as Maahise’s spruce sprout lemonade.
