Wooden boats, fish and music

The traditional wooden boat meeting is in Oravi harbor on July 19-20th

On Saturday, the public will have the opportunity to get to know the boats as the crews are happy to show off and answer questions.

Saturday 20.7. At the youth club's house, the associations of the Oravi region organize the traditional Oravi fish day. The event includes e.g. fish processing demonstration, product presentations, smoked fish and pancakes.

FRIDAY 19.7.

Squadron from Linansnaari to Oravi at 1 pm
Arrival in Oravi at approx. 1:30 p.m
Oravi's Greeting and the opening of the wooden boat event - at 3 pm

Summer evening Classical Music session in Ruukinranta's terrace area
Petri Kaskela – violin, Jiri Parviainen – double bass, Ilmo Saaristo – cello

At Restaurant Ruukinranta, tasty À la Carte dishes are available from 12 to 10 pm

Wooden Boat Jam at Makasiin from 8:30 p.m

SATURDAY 20.7.

Boats open to the public from 12 to 4 pm
Fishing day at the Youth Club house from 12 to 4 pm
