Saimaa Geopark’s natural and cultural site Kauriansalmi observation tower was built as a voluntary work in 2010. Next to the observation tower was built a lean-to and a camp fireplace. Kauriansalmi has also multifaceted trails around the observation tower and the area can be reached by boat.
