Rahikkala`s old windmill and village in Kuivasensaari is a natural and cultural site of Saimaa Geopark. Rahikkala is one of the five villages on Kuivasensaari island. It belongs to the village cultural landscapes of South Karelia, where a valuable traditional landscape has been preserved. The fixed points of the landscape include a windmill built in 1804 and restored to its original form in 2002. It can be turned on the pole support according to the wind, ie it is of the post mill type.
