The frame of Taipalsaari cross-shaped wooden church was built in 1754 and its designer is considered to be Eskil Collenius. Since its completion, the church has been renovated several times. The church was expanded to its present form during a renovation in 1846-47 and the church was boarded inside and out in the early 20th century. The last renovation of the church was made in 2019. The bell tower was completed as early as 1750. Taipalsaari church is open in connection with the events.
