The core philosophy of the Theatre of Black & White revolves around the belief that art and theatre transcend international borders and cultural divides, serving as a powerful medium for connecting people globally. Established in 2003 as a non-profit entity, the Theatre of Black & White has been instrumental in producing an impressive portfolio of several theatrical performances, including the notable film and has successfully hosted 20 theatre festivals in Imatra. Our organization's commitment to the arts extends beyond production; we have facilitated numerous training sessions and workshops, enriching the theatrical community. Inaugurated in 2004, the Black & White Theatre Festival marks a two-decade journey, featuring participation from 50 countries. Under the guidance of Artistic Director Kamran Shahmardan and Producer Katri Lätt, the festival has become a cornerstone event.
