Rimpsu-Reetan Ankkuri is a warm-hearted food restaurant and cafe on the shore of lake Saimaa in the harbor of Imatra. The restaurant offers local delicacies (rimpsu), which are topped rye pies baked with the traditional recipe of a local grandmother. In other words, Karelian pies tuned to their peak. The pies are available in salty and sweet, as well as vegetarian and vegan versions. In 2022, Rimpsu-Reetta's blueberry-vanilla pie won gold medal in the Finnish artisan food championship.
