The Koikkala kylätori (farmers' market) is a traditional rural market in the center of Koikkala village. The market is open on summer saturdays from 15.6.24 to 10.8.24, from 11 am to 13 pm, with the exception of Midsummer, when the market is open on the eve, which is friday. The harvest market is on 7.9.24 from 11am to 13 pm. On our grassy square, we have "lettukahvila" (pancakes/crepes) and we also have items such as hamburgers, gluten-free pancakes, and pastries. The sales tables have a variety of local products, including rye bread and pastries, eggs, sheepskin and wool yarn, honey, lamb meat products, sauerkraut, pickled cucumbers, various handicrafts and flea market items. As the summer progresses, you can find strawberries, potatoes, onion, and more. The market has a performance stage, where there are often performers, and for children, there is a sandbox and a small replica of the moomin house. Welcome to enjoy the atmosphere of our market!
